Alumni Weekend 2015
UIC College of Nursing alumni traveled near and far to attend this year’s Alumni reunion which consisted of a full weekend of events and celebrations. The College kicked off its inaugural Alumni Weekend on Friday, April 10 with an evening reception at the historic Jane Addams Hull-House Museum located on Campus. With over 60 alumni, donors, faculty, and students in attendance, guests mixed and mingled over appetizers and cocktails and later had the opportunity to tour the Hull House Museum. BSN’s from the class of 1965 were the largest reunion class in attendance with 8 alumnae present. The evening’s program consisted of a special recognition for alumni celebrating anniversary milestones and student 2014-2015 scholarship recipients. Also in attendance was University of Illinois Alumni Association’s Vice President, Arlene Norsym, who paid a special visit to honor UIC College of Nursing Alumni Board President Sabina Dambrauskas with the much deserved University of Illinois Alumni Association’s Constituent Leadership Award.
