Margarita Flores, MS, BSN

  • CNM

My current clinical practice is to provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, breastfeeding education and family planning services to an underserved population. I am bilingual/bicultural and I grew up in the south side Chicago in an impoverished neighborhood. My whole career has centered on working for a community with a similar background as I had.

A direction I have had is the focus of evidence based practice with cost effective care. I am a champion of the midwifery model of care: low intervention with high quality of care.
