Olga Amusina is a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Science. She completed her BSN, MSN and DNP at UIC. Her undergraduate work began in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Laboratory at the College of Nursing with the amazing team lead by Professor Emeritus Janet Larson. Olga’s interests in challenges offered by acute care environment and clinical research, lead to her career as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for pulmonary and critical care services in a four-hospital health care system. Prior to joining CON faculty in Fall 2017, Olga has been a long-term Adjunct Faculty, providing clinical experiences to UIC nurse practitioner students. Olga is coordinating Management of Health and Illness II: Advanced Practice, Acute Care course designed for DNP students.
