Student Nurses' Association Receives NSNA Stellar School Award
The Student Nurses' Association at UIC's College of Nursing has received the 2015 Stellar School Award from the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA). The award recognizes school chapters that "demonstrate ongoing involvement in NSNA, including a strong commitment to shared governance and professional development of their students and faculty."
Upon hearing of the award, student and Chapter President Allyson Joyce kindly thanked two of the chapter's academic advisors here at the College of Nursing. "This award," Allyson said, "would not be possible without Maripat King and Robin Johnson's support."
In April 2015, both a certificate and pins were presented to the college at the NSNA Annual Convention in Phoenix, AZ.
