Current Area of Teaching

URS 335 (Med-Surg), NURS 204( Professional Nursing) & NURS 212 (Health Assessment) - junior year and senior students’ clinical practicum at UIH in Chicago ; Instruct evidence based nursing care based on the scientific knowledge; apply patient centered care as an art of nursing; Facilitate post conferences twice a week at the hospital; review of disease management , ethical/legal /policy issues, assessment/ patient care plan, concept care map, patient teaching and discharge plan with comprehensive health assessment skills.

Current Research Project in ENGAGE IL will continue (2015-2017) for older adults care & Quality Improvement Project/Study for SNFs to expand data collections /surveys with mixed methods after the first publication of pilot study.
