2016 Quad Cities Spring Celebration Dinner

The 2016 Quad Cities Spring Celebration Dinner was held on Thursday, April 28th at the Stoney Creek Inn in Moline, IL. The Dinner is an annual event to honor the graduating class for their outstanding achievements, recognize Quad City scholarship recipients, and reconnect with Alumni and preceptors. Representatives from the regional Nursing campuses, as well as the main Chicago location, travel to Moline to congratulate the graduates and join in the merriment!

To commemorate the College of Nursing’s 65th anniversary, the Quad Cities campus had a celebratory 65th champagne flute created, complete with Hershey’s Kisses!

Representatives from the Chicago Alumni Board, Celeste Pearson and Judith McDevitt, take a moment to chat with UIC-Quad Cities Alumnus and preceptor, Heather Dunn.

After over 20 years of dedicated service to the Quad Cities campus, as both a preceptor and FNP Faculty member, Dr. Bernard Tadda received the Legacy award. The presentation of this award is bittersweet, as Dr. Tadda is retiring from UIC in May 2016.
